2019 Annexus Grenache
Description: Annexus: Attached, linked or joined to; highlighting exceptional elements of Plexus. In the very best years, parcels of the most exceptional wines are reserved for Annexus Grenache, with the intention of showcasing the best Grenache from an exceptional vintage, sourced from old and ancestor Barossa vines.
Vintage: 2019
Grape Variety: Grenache
Region: Barossa Springton and North Barossa
Reviews & Awards: Deep and crystalline ruby-red hue. Blueberry, sage and dry clay aromatics. Medium to full in weight, with still shy fruit and spices layered on the palate. Whilst the flavours may be shy theres distinct power and intensity here. The tannins are a fine and sandy grain, with a tickle of acidity noted, bringing tension and drive into a seamless package. Time will see this pinot-esque grenache blossom. 95 points - Stuart Knox, The Real Review
