Description: Entity: The outcome of a singular grape variety transformed by the winemakers craftsmanship. Maturation of selected parcels of old vine fruit in French oak is fundamental to producing Entity - an elegant Shiraz that is true to the Barossa.
Grape Variety: Shiraz
Region: Barossa - Krondorf, Ebenezer, Moppa, Tanunda, Eden Valley
Reviews & Awards: Very deep ruby in colour, it explodes with kirsch, fruit pastilles and black olive aromas wound up tightly by high quality oak. It is still a little bit closed but already absolutely moreish and delicious. That is then followed by a palate that is dry, firm, young and tight, with a super balance of dark fruits over ample tannins. There is an attractive layer of spice too cinnamon and fennel seed that helps it to retain brightness and subtly before a long and rich finish. A super wine that will cellar nicely, if you can keep your hands off it. 96 points - Angus Hughson, Wine Pilot
