Less than an hour’s drive from Adelaide CBD and the airport via the Northern Expressway, Artisans of Barossa is located at the northern edge of Tanunda.

Artisans is where you can enjoy everything that is good about the Barossa region, be it in a glass or on a plate.

The Wine Room

Nowhere else can you discover the breadth and depth of Barossa wine expression that you’ll find at Artisans of Barossa.

Over 100 wines from eight of the region’s best small, independent family owned winemakers in one place.

Presented through a range of tastings designed to take you on a personal journey of discovery in Barossa wine.

Tastings start from $10 per head, refundable on retail wine purchases of more than $120 per guest.

Essen Restaurant

Essen means ‘to eat’ and it captures how we like to enjoy everything from our special part of the world. Be it in a glass or on a plate.

Located in the heart of a community of farmers and artisan producers who provision our kitchen, our ever changing menu reflects subtle changes in seasonal produce availability.

Our shared lunch is offered at $60 per head, and includes three selections from the menu and sides.

Four selections and sides is offered at $75 per head.

Wines by the glass and bottle are available from our extensive list. BYO is not permitted.

Artisans of Barossa Wine Store

Delikatessen & Store

Opening Friday 5 November, Delikatessen by Artisans of Barossa will offer relaxed all-day eats and drinks in the heart of Barossa. It’s also the home of our other passion – great coffee! Take a seat in the store, on the terrace or on the lawn and enjoy some of the best vineyard views Barossa has to offer.

The abundance of great produce from Barossa and beyond is available in the Store. A place to browse and shop for great local artisan wine and food.

The Artisans Room

Tucked away off our Tasting Room is a private space reserved exclusively for our Artisans and our special guests.

A place to relax and settle into a personal, hosted tasting and a deeper dive into the world of small batch Barossa winemaking.

Minimum booking of 2 guests.

The Green Room

Our Green Room is a private space available for bookings for group tastings for 10 or more guests.

Tastings in the Green Room include the services of a dedicated host and wines selected from our Discovery and Adventure wine selections.

The Terrace & Lawn

Take a seat on the Terrace or out on the lawns and enjoy views across vineyards to the Barossa ranges.

Select wines from our extensive by the glass and bottle list, and from November 1, enjoy all-day casual eats from our Delikatessen menu.

Seat and table reservations are not available for the Terrace/Lawn.

Group Visits

We understand that a sharing great wine and food with a large group of good friends and family is one of life’s great joys. If you are planning to visit Artisans of Barossa in a group of 10 or more, then we request you email our Reservations Manager prior to your visit so that we can be prepared to accommodate you.
