Blossom is out across the Barossa, with pink, white, and orange touches everywhere. We've updated our Rosé list for Spring, and sales of delicious, lip-smacking Rosé are back! If you can't come and visit, don't worry—we've put together a mixed six-pack that we can deliver for you to enjoy at home.
Barossa Rosé has become a much more refined style in the last twenty years, with Grenache playing a key role. If you can't decide between white and red, take the middle road!
Here are the details:
- Schwarz Wine Co. Rosé 2023. Grenache (70% & Mataro (30%). Light salmon is pink with aromas and flavours of raspberry, red apple, and redcurrant with citrus.
- Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. LUX VENIT* Rosé 2022. Also, Grenache with Mataro. Wild fermented and aged for a short time in gorgeous French oak barrels; this wine is the definition of lush and the perfect addition to your Spring garden table.
- Spinifex Rosé 2023. The classic. Delicate salmon-hued. Refined aromatic fruit nose of pink grapefruit, just ripe nectarine, tart strawberry, yellow rose petals and dried provincial herbs.
- Chaffey Bros. Wine Co., NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S* Rosé 2023. Made from handpicked Old Vine Barossa Grenache and Mourvèdre... with a dash of Eden Valley whites for X-factor. Rosé all-day vibes.
- Lienert Vineyards PINQ Rosé 2023. The fun one. This is a fresh new style of Barossa Rosé hailing from the Western Barossa with a little bit of sweetness. Try it over ice, in a frosé, or from the esky—supercold—this is a crowd-pleaser for everyone.
- Lienert Vineyards Tierra del Puerco 'Catalisa' Rosé 2023. Elegant and refined single vineyard Grenache from the Western Ridge. All red fresh fruit with a lick of acidity and a long finish.
