2016 Lienert Estate Shiraz
Description: An elegant, modern expression of Barossa Valley Shiraz from 100% estate grown fruit. Fine structured, complex nose and palate of red and dark fruits, with a long finessed finish.
Grape Variety: Shiraz
Region: Barossa Valley Gomersal
Reviews & Awards: For all practical reasons, identical vinification to its '17 sibling. The wine itself is very different, more savoury than sweet, and with clear-cut Barossa flavours, the tannins ripe and balanced. 95 points - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion. Its wonderfully ripe and opulent, showing blackberry, dark plum, dark cocoa and spicy oak characters on the nose, leading to an impressively concentrated palate thats plush and lingering. The wine is gorgeously styled and fabulously expressed with a lengthy silky finish. At its best: now to 2030. 95 points - Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz
