Challenged by the Japanese market to make an “on-skins” cloudy white Chaffey Bros took the opportunity to reimagine and explore what the definitive white blend of the Barossa could be. Informed by tradition but unshackled from expectation this was an opportunity to let their hair down and run wild! From the Fechner Vineyard in the north of Eden Valley this is a true field blend of aromatic and zesty Eden Valley Old Vine Semillon, Riesling, Kerner, Pinot Gris & Gewürztraminer… Fermented wild on-skins, think lemon squash laden with texture, refreshment and interest.

Unfined + unfiltered… minimal intervention yet maximum care means this is a skin-contact, natural wine that is cloudy but fine! A micro-batch of only 200 doz, this is a Barossa field white like no other. A guarantee grandma never drank a white quite like this!!
