Crafted from wild yeast, whole bunches, and old dry-grown vines, this is a contemporary and highly aromatic expression of Barossa Shiraz with both structure and flair. There’s an initial hit of ripe macerated plum, cassis, and red pastille, backed by layers of olive tapenade, liquorice root, violets, cedar, amaro herbs, vanilla, and smoked meats. Broody and full-bodied, it offers deep dark fruit, chocolate-dipped cherry, and baking spice, framed by fine, powdery tannins and a cassis-like finish that lingers with great sustain.
