Tasting Note
Breezy and vibrant from the first pour, this old vine Grenache leaps from the glass with bright red fruits, a whisper of dried cranberry, and whole-bunch spice. The palate is lively and fine-boned, driven by lip-smacking tannins and a sense of freshness that leaves you reaching for another glass. Complex and complete, it captures everything we’ve come to love in the PAX style, tailor-made for spring picnics, wood-fire pizza, or a long lunch in good company.

Halliday Wine Companion
Super crunchy and high-toned in the glass with characters of raspberry, juicy plum and cranberry fruits cut with exotic ginger spice, amaro herbs, dried citrus rind, gingerbread, cola and earth. Light on its feet with a minerally cadence, some light meaty tones on the palate, silty tannins and a whole lot of drinking enjoyment.

The Real Review
Bright ruby colour. Raspberry and red peppercorn aromatics. Juicy and fresh red berry fruit on entry, paprika and sumac spices with a hint of dusty earth adding interest. Good length and finishes with a stylish flush of powdery tannins.
