Tasting Note

An ancient Rhone white wine varietal used in delicious Château Neuf de Pape White blends.  In isolation, it reveals nutty, almond meal characteristics.  A hint of citrus sits in the background, and with plenty of texture and palate weight, it sits beautifully alongside rich seafood and poultry dishes.

The Real Review

A rich, full flavored white with softness and a faint tickle of sweetness. Some honey, malt and peach nectar, lots of flavor and seems to have plenty of alcohol and glycerol. Some skin tannins in balance. Salty mineral palate. A very tasty wine and a rarity.
