Tasting Note
Vibrant ruby red in colour, this wine opens with savoury herb and spicy fruit aromatics that reveal bright red cherry and rose. Fine boned in structure, the palate is layered with fresh raspberry and pure red fruits, finishing with schisty minerality and fine dusty tannins.

The Real Review
Medium purple colour, bright and youthful. Very fragrant - violets, red plums and oak-spice. A lovely raspberry overlay. Supple and softly redfruited when sipped. Terrific length and structure with acidity to reward cellaring. Delicious wine.

The Wine Front
Elegant thing this with a good deal of fine, suede tannin to boot. It’s highly aromatic, floral rose water and raspberry scented, shows a whiff of sweet spice, touch of green herbs. The palate is decidedly light and runs on cables of fine, dusty tannins. Length is apparent, it finishes with a flourish of gentle sweetness then clean earthiness. It’s a beauty.

For me, this is a classically varietal grenache. There is a pleasing mix of spices, red fruits, dry herbs, soft notes of beef stock and truffles. It is seamless, well structured and with silky tannins, while offering good focus. This is a very fine grenache.
