Deep garnet in colour displaying perfumed red-cherry fruits, dried herb and complex white-pepper aromas. A richly concentrated, rounded palate with lovely mid-palate flesh, finishing with excellent focus and precision. From an outstanding vintage for old vine Shiraz, this wine will age gracefully for many years to come.

An old vine Eden Valley shiraz sourced across several sites from 50- to 80-year-old vines; 15% whole bunches, 18 months French oak (60% new). 2021 was a fine year, and that fact shines through in this wine. Detailed with just the right amount of structural sinew pure sage, amaro and spice-flecked red and dark berry fruits, showing space, vitality and poise across its length. A really impressive release.
