We’ve had the idea for a place in the Barossa for relaxed all day eats and drinks from the very moment we started work on a new home for Artisans of Barossa. And on November 5 that idea becomes reality as we open Delikatessen & Store.

Open 7 days a week from 8am, Delikatessen & Store starts the day with our other passion, great coffee. Our beans are fresh roasted daily by Hark in Adelaide, and we have expert baristas driving the Barossa’s most impressive coffee machine, a grand La Marzocco affair handmade and shipped all the way from Florence, Italy. Artisan wines are available all day by the glass and bottle, as are a selection of local beers and ciders, plus mixed drinks and artisan soft drinks.

Coffee at Delikatessen

With great drinks must come great food, and our Artisans kitchen has created a menu that meets your all-day hunger needs. In the morning we offer fresh baked goods including muffins and cookies, before we start serving up our signature sandwiches, ‘dogs and hot crunchy chips served with house-made roasted garlic aoli from 11am until 4pm. Our already famous Ruben is set to become a Barossa classic. If you’re on the run, take-away is also an option.

From 11am to 5pm, we also offer house-made terrines and rillettes along with cheese boards that proudly promote the best of South Australia’s artisan cheese makers.

Reservations are not required. Just take a seat in the store, on the terrace or lawn and enjoy some of the best vineyard views Barossa has to offer.

Delikatessen is a new addition to Artisans of Barossa, complementing our wine room which is open 7 days a week from 11am to 5pm, and Essen restaurant open for lunch from Friday to Sunday.

Reservations for Wine Tastings and Essen can be made here.
